About Us
5ives is a not for profit organisation providing fit for purpose facilities in Barnsley, South Yorkshire. We work with many partner organisations to offer facilities enabling healthy lifestyles and participation in sport for people of all ages and backgrounds. Contact us to book a pitch, join our leagues, find out about upcoming projects and get involved in sport!
We work with a wide range of local organisations to offer sport participation for many hard to reach groups and provide facilities and support for Kendray Hospital, Barnsley Youth Intervention Unit, Coalfields Regeneration and many more.
We have received funding to regenerate the pitches, lower our carbon footprint by installing solar panels through M&S and changed to LED lights with support from VEOLIA.
4G Football Pitches
We have six 5a-side and two 7 a-side 4G hybrid turf pitches which are available to book for social games with your mates, join our leagues and are also used for projects such as walking football, girls football , junior football, hockey and many other activities.
Community room
Our sports bar is available for local community groups and also people to book functions as well as that catch up after the game!
